Dan Peña — The GOAT
Dan Peña was born into modest circumstances in the United States. Raised in a barrio, he defied every expectation placed on him — going from nothing to Wall Street, and from Wall Street to building one of the most audacious business careers in modern history.
In 1982, he founded Great Western Resources. In his first year, with nothing but a leased fax machine and a telephone, he secured $50 million in US Federal Government contracts — without a single employee or office. It was a statement of intent that would define the next four decades.
He took an option public on a major stock exchange — a first. He turned a $60,000 position into $65 million in three and a half months, pre-internet. He completed over 1,000 deals across six continents. He formed partnerships with foreign governments, including the Vatican.
In 1993, Dan began channelling his hard-won expertise into mentorship, developing the Quantum Leap Advantage (QLA) Methodology. Since then, his mentees and devotees have generated over a trillion dollars in equity and value — making him, by any measurable standard, the most successful high-performance business coach in history.
